Sunday, Buddy Sunday
Greetings, snarkers! I am posting this from beautiful Lake Placid, where I’ve been enjoying a mini-winter vacation with my family since Thursday. First order of business upon arrival was to grab the computer in the lobby and post Sunday’s strip. For today, I’ll leave the snarking to you all, and catch up with ya during the week.
Man’s Best Buddy
So what’s Robbie’s story? Does he have any issues, or is Batiuk just incapable of drawing appealing children? For now, Robbie exists as a prop. He hasn’t been given any lines…can he speak? How old is he? Who’s his daddy? Was he conceived in the back of a van? Are his tiny arms a clue to some type of irregularity? Let’s have some backstory here! Robbie’s issues aside, I must admit that it’s a nice change to see Pvt. Winkerbean finally “at ease”.
Lassie Sass
Wally gets slapped down a second time by the sarcastic bitch of a dog trainer. Anyway, I wonder if someone experiencing a panic attack, or “freezing up”, whatever the hell that means, would have the presence of mind to issue any command to their dog.
