With our girls finally off to college* (more than a month after classes began), Les turns his attention to the Lisa’s Legacy® Run (which had already taken place this time last year) and, uh…oh yeah, the wedding. Cayla, who just a week ago was almost giddy describing the wedding plans, expresses her wish to die. Even Les is taken aback. I’m sure this is meant to be taken as a joke, except Cayla’s not smiling: in fact, she looks utterly defeated.
Your humble narrator’s feeling a bit defeated too, because once again, the upcoming strips are not available online for preview…even Senor Tortilla’s URL workaround isn’t working. So it’s back to “placeholder” posts again, that will go live at midnight eastern, with a link to the strip and my snark to be added later.
