Son of Stuck Funky

SoSfDavidO here, and it finally looks like something resembling a storyline is taking place! Sure, we’ll probably be treated to four day’s worth of MBA degree’d web-wonk Darrin on the roof with Funky setting up the ol’ reindeer display but at least we’ll get a sense that time is moving forward and not stuck in a standstill or moving backwards.

As today’s strip shows, Funky takes a lot of pride in being able to hang up $25’s worth of Wal-Mart decorations he bought back in February last year. It almost makes your shitty little greasepit look like a Parisian cafe!

SoSfDavidO here, with another trip to Westview with our favorite student, Owen. Let’s see what he’s doing in today’s strip!

Eating! And from the sounds of it, lunch hasn’t changed much since I was in high school. Honestly, I’m not feeling overly snarky on today’s strip. It’s fairly amusing, paged well, and we don’t have too see Les or zoom out to another county to accommodate the word balloon. Why Owen is dressed like he’s in a meat locker and Cody is in a t-shirt is puzzling, but other than that, another one-shot throw-away slightly funny trip to Westview.

Oh, it’s Funky and Holly, watching television in an oddly stiff, non-relaxed manner as they snark on PBS for aiming for the non-white, non-late 40s, non-pizza store owning demographic.

More of Dinkle’s typing and smirking, typing and smirking in today’s Strip, there’s not much to snark on still. This whole week has been like sitting at a red light that goes on and on and on…
