His Motto’s Always Been “When It’s Right, It’s Right.”

Link To Today’s Thing

You know, this whole “young lovebirds just starting out” arc would have made more sense if a) Boy Lisa and Jessica were fifteen years younger and, you know, young lovebirds just starting out and b) Jessica had moved back to Ohio with Boy Lisa THEN went out to California to film the Buckner Brigatoni documentary. BatGak STILL never bothered to explain what Jessica was doing out there, but at this point it doesn’t really matter anyway. They’ll be perpetually “getting their burgeoning careers on track” for the rest of FW’s run, whether that’s three years or three hundred (don’t put it past him). The truly scary part is that the Bucket Briquette arc HASN’T EVEN STARTED YET which means he’ll be flogging the Boy Lisa & Jess thing for months, if not years. Sigh.

And on that note allow me to step aside and turn the microphone over to TFH, our SoSF king of kings!

So, for most of the week Skyler has been MIA. Even when he did appear, his interaction withJessica was minimal. Great example of parenting, TomBa.

I don’t know how much this has already been brought up but it bears repeating regardless: Absent severe psychological problems, no mother would be this indifferent to her young child.

You know, if only Batiuk had actual young couples just starting out to feature, like Cory and Rocky, or Wally and his wife who’s so unimportant I can’t recall her name, or Summer and her boyfriend/girlfriend

  3. @epicusdoomus, my main man, thanks for stepping in lo this past week on extremely short notice!

Given how horny these two morons are for each other, I really took Darin’s “There’s no one around” as a prelude to a quickie. Instead, it’s merely a setup for a sappy punchline. Probably followed by a quickie.

Skyler: Grammy, where’s mommy and daddy? I thought we were gonna go to the park.
Ann: No, they were going to the park… and they left 20 minutes ago.
Skyler: But… But I wanted to go, too.
Ann: Yeah, well, life’s full of disappointments, kid, and the sooner you realize that, the better. Now, go get Grammy another beer, and this time make sure it’s good and cold.

This means that we’re about to see another reset soon. Perhaps we’ll rotate back to Bull being in the early stages of his decline again. Heaven alone knows that people can’t move on with life. They’re in the same holding pattern Les has been in since St Dead Lisa died. He might have remarried but people still think of his place as his and Lisa’s so……….

I knew Westview was losing population, but dang…
Turn out the lights when these two shuffle off.

FW has been a bust this past week. Just terrible all the way around.

Crankshaft, however, has been decent. Today’s gag made me chuckle. Also it’s funny watching Batty live out his fantasies of being in the New York Times vis a vis the old lady who sabotaged her sister’s life.
