  2. This is maybe my least favorite type of Batiuk strip: one that takes an entire Sunday strip to tell a “joke” that would’ve worked in three, or maybe even two panels. He does it ALL THE TIME in Crankshaft. Which, as far as dumb wastes of space go, might actually have FW beat today.

    1. Ah, just you wait, the twins and their mom have been hitting the gym. Come next fall, a muscular super mom is gonna rip the bumper right off of ol cranky’s bus!

  3. A triumphant Funky and an amusing punchline with no mention of Lisa Is it possible that this Sunday can be a day of rest for the SOSF community? If so, I’m apprehensive of what awaits us on Monday.

  7. Les’ best shot is known as the “Lisa shot”. It’s when he hits the same shot again and again and again…then TALKS ABOUT that shot again and again and again…then mentions how proud Lisa would have been of the shot in question…again and again and again.
