…um, yeah. Same joke as yesterday. Same joke as the following four days as well, I’m guessing.
Kinda sorta, yeah. What’s different today? Well, in panel 1, BlackBerry-waving Darin is sporting those crazy eyes like Susan used to get. And the punchline, while not side-splitting, at least follows the rules of logic…it’s even kind of zen.
Les vents to his “work wife” Linda about how another student tried to pass off a purchased paper as his own work. I wonder if that student’s offense was dealt with as lightly as was Maddie’s? “Everyone deserves a second chance, Cory…so here’s what I’m going to do. Your dad owns a pizza parlor…so why don’t you make a pizza in the shape of a whale?”

Holy pepperoni, Funkman, I’ll say it’s a roaring success: practically all of Westview (except, sadly, for Cory) has turned out to sample Montoni’s New Breakfast Pizza. Did Cody and Owen grow a couple feet taller over the summer, or do they just seem tall standing behind tiny Kevin? Even some celebrities have turned out, including Dr. Bunsen Honeydew (behind Funky and Darin) and former child star Mason Reese (behind Maddie).
Buddy dons his trademark vest, and he and his master hop into Wally’s clown car. Next stop: the VA clinic in Akron!
