I haven’t posted since the heat death of the Funkyverse. Special thanks to TFH, everyone who’s contributed, and, of course, CBH, who’s exceeded my already lofty and unrealistic expectations with her special brand of Batiukian madness. I’m mildly surprised and definitely pleased to see SoSF still more or less chugging along. I genuinely had no idea what to do or what would happen, but it’s all just kind of worked itself out. And how many things can you say that about, eh? Thank you, Harriet, and by all means, carry on. I wouldn’t even attempt to try and stop you at this point. You don’t want to fool around with farm people, they have wiles.

Hey gang, TFH here! The title character in a Tom Batiuk comic strip can expect to meet one of only two possible fates. We saw John Darling famously meet his at the wrong end of a gun. I have several character retrospectives in mind, but am also open to suggestions. Any particular person, place, arc, or theme you’d like to see, comment below.

You thought you might be getting hilarity and even exciting group activities today, finally?!
Too bad! CBH has stolen this bus while TFH and Epicus are in the back napping off LisaPocalypse: The Day the Plot Stood Still. And Comic Book Harriet wants to celebrate Epiphany.
Epiphany is the traditional end to the Christmas season. In the Western Church it celebrates the visit of the Magi to a young Jesus, in the Eastern Church, Jesus’ baptism. In both cases the idea is that Jesus is being revealed to the world as something to be revered. Continue reading “On To Shine”
There Goes The Neighborhood
I hate having “Crankshaft” rammed down my throat anytime, but on Christmas Eve it’s just absolutely galling. I see two interesting things about this one. First, it appears that Boy Lisa and Jessica had another kid, because that ain’t Skyler. And two, although I realize it’s probably just another “Crankshaft” character I don’t know, it sure looks like Bull is there, right next to Jessica.
